Help Me With Math —Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 20, 2025

Welcome to Help Me With Math (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, platform, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Service.

1. Overview

Help Me With Math provides AI-powered math tutoring for students, parents, educators, and institutions. The Service is available on an individual subscription basis or through custom licensing agreements for schools, government organizations, and other enterprises.

2. Eligibility

  • Individual Users: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

  • Enterprise & Government Users: By signing up or entering into a licensing agreement, your organization affirms that the individual accepting these terms is authorized to bind the institution to this agreement.

3. Subscription & Licensing

3.1 Individual Subscription

  • Monthly recurring billing applies unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Access remains active through the end of the billing cycle.

  • Refunds are not issued for unused time unless required by law.

3.2 Institutional Licensing

  • Schools, districts, and government agencies may enter into custom agreements with defined user quotas, service levels, and invoicing terms.

  • License terms, fees, and usage rights are detailed in your signed Service Agreement or Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Late or non-payment may result in access suspension or contract termination.

4. AI Limitations & Educational Use

The Service uses AI to assist with understanding math concepts, not to replace certified instruction. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or pedagogical alignment of AI-generated responses.

Use of this platform is for educational assistance purposes only and should not be considered formal instruction or tutoring by a certified professional.

5. Data Security & Privacy

We are committed to protecting user data, especially for minors and institutional users.

  • We do not sell user data or use it for third-party advertising.

  • All data collection and use is governed by our Privacy Policy.

  • FERPA compliance is maintained for all U.S.-based educational institutions.

  • Enterprise clients may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) upon contract initiation.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Users (individual or institutional) agree not to:

  • Use the platform for anything other than educational support.

  • Upload content that is offensive, inappropriate, or illegal.

  • Interfere with system performance or integrity.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, replicate, or commercially exploit the platform.

7. Service Availability & Support

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

  • Enterprise clients may request guaranteed uptime SLAs or priority support options as part of their licensing agreement.

  • Platform updates, feature changes, or outages may occur without notice to individual users; enterprise clients will be notified of major changes in writing.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts (individual or institutional) for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Abuse of the platform

  • Non-payment (in the case of institutional contracts)

Enterprise clients must refer to their licensing contract for termination and cancellation clauses.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Help Me With Math is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to academic performance or grading outcomes.
